Mrs. (Mama) Spencer will surely be missed but never forgotten & for all of the lives she enriched. Mama Spencer was an icon to all of the neighborhoods that received the benefit of her efforts to make sure youth had jobs, guidance, and support. Her vision and dedication made San Francisco a better city. I was saddened to learn about the passing of "Mother Spencer." She has been a blessing to so many. My condolences and prayers go out to the family.

"Mama Spencer" will be dearly missed. She was viewed and respected as a great icon, to all who ever met her. May she rest in peace. May God look over the Spencer family.

What a great lady. It was an honor to know her and to experience her positive presence. Her regal bearing and the smile that lit up a room will always be remembered.
