Not sure what to say?

I remember Payne from a book we have on James River Plantations. She was a sweet lady always dressed beautifully and happy. I am very sorry at her passing, and may god be with her always. mark Krogh Woodlawn Plantation halifax Virginia

From a digital distance, I enjoyed Mrs. Tyler's time on C-Span's series on the US Presidents. Her tour and demeanor were highlights of the series. I've watched it again online. I am sorry to hear of her passing.

In remembrance: We feel fortunate to have known Payne and her husband Harrison at the summer polo days at Rancho Santa Fe polo Club. Her daughter Julia was always a-gracious host. She will be missed. Dr. Alfonso Nava San Marino, Ca.

We are very sorry to learn of your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God collects our tears and is ready to sustain us during our time of need - Psalm 56:8

Payne was a warm and generous friend of many years. I always enjoyed my many visits to Sherwood Forest and the hospitality shown by Payne and Harrison. My sincere condolences to all of the Tyler's.

Payne was ever loving and giving to me and my husband, sister, brother-in-law, daughter, and granddaughter. Spending time with her was always a joy - filled with her loving kindness and enthusiasm. The warm memories of our time together will always live in my heart. Paynie with her undying gentility had been no stranger to difficulty. But she faced life with plenty of courage and a great deal of spunk. Thank you, Payne and Harrison.
