Frances Donnellon Updike

Gigi was a very special friend to many people, I being one of them. Her love for me and my art will remain a gift that keeps giving for a lifetime. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to see her this past summer. I missed being able to say a formal farewell to her at the funeral and seeing the Updike family in person. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are to all the family. May you find comfort by remembering the good Gigi accomplished--God bless!

I will never forget all the love and caring that Fran gave to all who entered her life. What a priviledge to know Fran for 35 years! Though a distant family member, Fran's love and open arms always welcomed me to the fold! Fran will be missed, but always fondly remembered. Love to all the Updikes, Donellons and the Daily's.

Sad to hear of Gigi's passing. Such a special woman who will hold a special place in my heart. She leaves a lasting legacy in all of you!

Dear Sam, Larry, Ginger, Mary and Families, I was so sad to hear about Fran, but Heather told me what a beautiful service it was and I wish I'd been there to see you all. Fran was always so cheerful, fun, and so loving to everyone. What wonderful memories you all have! I smile every time I think of her. If everyone had just a touch of her faith and love, the world would be a much better place. I feel so blessed to have known her.
