Fran was an immense presence at the TSTA annual House of Delegates when I first met her. I looked forward to seeing her each year; it was my pleasure to serve with her on the Board of Directors of TSTA-R when I retired. I treasured time spent with her because she was always so lively and fun, yet totally committed to her ideals. She will be missed by many.

There are no words to begin to express the sadness and the whole left behind with Fran's passing. She was a mentor and most important a friend. Her laughter, smile and wit will be missed by many.
