Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear of Ann's passing. I was working as Professor Jensen's secretary at the University of California, Berkeley, when he and Ann got married in 1976 and when they spent 6 months in Germany on a sabbatical one or two years later. I heard about some of their travel adventures. After Ann moved to Arizona, she sent us her interesting, action-packed Christmas letters for many years!

My most sincere condolences to Ann's family. I knew Ann at the University of Arizona in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department. I have many fantastic interactions with her over the years, as many of my students in a Biochemistry laboratory course, were working in her laboratory. I also served on several committees with Ann. She was a fantastic scientist, mentor, and friend. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to know, work with, and learn from her.

I send sincere condolences to Ann´s family, friends, colleagues. Like Ann, I grew up in s.e. Ohio; our families knew each other. We were faithful Presbyterians; both Ann and I attended the College of Wooster, Ohio. We kept in touch over the years, both of us pursing academic careers. I honor Ann´s many contributions to making this a better world. She sets quite an example for us to follow!
