WELDON, Frances M. "Marge" - Of Grand Blanc, age 84, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Visitation 6-8PM Wednesday and 1-8PM Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc on Friday at 11AM until the time of the Mass. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12Noon Friday, October 26, 2007, Father Ken Coughlin officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice Care Center or American Cancer Society. Frances was born in Sprucedale, Ontario, Canada on June 7, 1923, the daughter of the late Robert and Nellie (Bainbridge) O'Halloran and was a resident of Grand Blanc for the last 7 years. On June 15, 1942 she married Albert Weldon. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the 55 and Over Group, UAW Local #1292 and Grand Blanc Senior Center. Frances retired from GM after 30 years of service. Surviving are loving husband of 65 years, Albert; son, Larry and wife Angie; daughter, Terry and husband Phil Peterson; 5 grandsons, Chris and wife Lynn, Martin and wife Sue, Ken and wife Lindi, John and wife Lori and Danny; 11 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Taylor, John, Nathan, Lexi, Katey, Tiffany, Trevor, Misty, Jennifer and Brandon; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Andy, Parker and Autumn; brother, Ernie and wife Donna O'Halloran; many nieces and nephews.
