Not sure what to say?

Being a friend and classmate of Frances Wiggins' daughter, Sarah, I was one of the many teenagers that hung out at the Wiggins house. All the time. I remember Mrs. Wiggins listening to great music. Once, she had on an album she had just purchased. "Big Fun" by Miles Davis. I can't recall any other parents having a contemporary Miles Davis album. Coolest. Mom. Ever.

Frances was always a friend, one you knew you could trust with your teenage diary entries (eeek!) She not only presented herself as completely honest, she went out on a limb to do the right thing for all of her friends and neighbors. I am still in love with arugula, thanks to Frances. Still love her, too.

Dear Frances, I miss you very, very much. When you and Shirley and Peyton were the glue that held us together at the BDC, we had a great, great club. This was because you were all good listeners and has the added advantage of being deeply committed to our Democratic values, our Democracy. I loved you for having the good sense to marry Joe, another great American who inspired me with his...

My deepest sympathy to the Wiggins Family. Her service was a special one. Frances was a wonderful lady that was admired & loved, especially by my deceased 8.6.15 wife, Shirley King.

Much love to the family of Frances who lived a life full of love, laugh and curiosity. She truly lived her life to the fullest and inspired many along her journey. She will be missed, but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on.

What a wonderful person Frances was. We are all very fortunate to have known her.
With love, respect and sympathy to Frances's family,

Frances was always there for those of us who were lucky enough to know her. She gave us the gift of listening with her full attention to anything we said, without interruption. She was a true friend, an intelligent and compassionate humanitarian. And she knew how to cultivate and share her organic vegetables. I will always love Frances Wiggins

My heartfelt condolences to the Wiggins family. Frances was a wonderful woman. Her dedication to helping people should be an inspiration for us all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
