Single Memorial Tree

After nine years, it is still amazing to me that almost daily I think of something I want to ask Frances---she always had the answers or the kind words of encouragement I needed--only in the next breath to realize the impossibility of that. She was as close to a second mother as one could have and had the ability, though less than two years older than I, to sort me out and set me on the right path. Her accomplished daughter and grandchildren have been such a delight--I feel sure she would...

Billy and Clara Ruth,

My memories of Aunt Frances are those of an amazingly talented, versatile and caring person; someone who I very much admired. Whether she was upholstering furniture, working in her garden or mixing up what seemed to me one of her magic formulas in her laboratory, she always had time to stop and explain to an impossibly inquisitive young boy what it was she was doing and how all the tools, gizmos and gadgets worked. I particularly remember the weeks I spent...

Billy and Clara Ruth, I am sorry for your loss. I have memories of Frances and she is smiling, funny, and kind.

Frances was the best aunt anyone could have. Her kindness to me when I was a shy, awkward teenager meant more to me than anyone will ever know. Thank you for sharing her with me. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will always remember Frances by her smiling face,She was one of my best liked cousins

I remember with laughter and quite some awe our days at the Gamma Phi House at Vanderbilt. I can still remember Frances working on some complicated project and joining in our conversations at the same time!

Frances was a delightful person.

My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. One's mother is always a precious gift.
