I was devastated today when I found out that Francesca had passed, and that I didn't get to say goodbye or tell her family how much I adored her. The last time I saw her was in March 2014, so I was so shocked to see she had died just 8 short months later. She never even mentioned she was ill, and she seemed to be her usual upbeat, bright and joyful self. My heart just broke thinking about you all; the husband she so adored and her sons and her precious granddaughter Ava, that were her world. Lance, she used to entertain me with her stories and I remember her telling me about meeting you and saying you were the one! The first time I met her (she was going by Penny then) I just fell in love with her! I was the nurse for a doctor she visited in Snellville and we immediately had a connection. We kept up our relationship long after I left that practice and went to another. Francesca was such a joy and every time I saw her, I felt great all day long from her positive energy and love of life. She and I had such great laughs and so enjoyed talking about our kids, our grand children (I have a grandson the same age as Ava), fashion, business, and so many other things. She was the epitome of class, charm, style and grace. I know all of you still miss her terribly. She left such a wonderful legacy to you all and I know you are comforted, as am I, that you WILL see her again someday in the presence of our Heavenly Father, whole and again full of life!

Francesca ...there aren't any words that could really capture your essence. However, the fact that you were loved by so many is a testament to your life. And live you did. I will miss our grandmotherly conversations and my heart aches for your family, especially Ava. I will never forget you Francesca. You were one of a kind! I know you are heading up the welcoming committee in heaven so I will see you again one day.

Francesca made us all laugh and came up with ideas only she could imagine (like teaching a class on Flirting for college students). She made anyone who knew her want to be better, because she was always amazing. As a trainer Francesca was fearless; the only person who could pull off shooting a cannon in class while wearing camouflage pants and red heels. That got everyone's attention and only she could imagine and execute. I loved and admired her dearly, and always will. Rest in peace and pearls my friend!

Our friendship began when we sat next to each other at a training seminar. Little did I know then that I was sitting next to a dynamic lady but it didn't take long to figure that out. After retirement our conversations about retirement, the beach, granddaughters, etc will be missed. I'm so fortunate to have known Francesca. She was very proud of her sons and she knew how much they loved her. I hope that will help ease your sorrow during this difficult time.

My dear friend Penny, it is so hard to say good bye. We had such good times and laughed so much when we were all together. You were filled with so much dynamic energy; you captivated everyone regardless of who they were. My granddaughters always said I want to sit and listen to Penny because she tells such good stories. We just ran out of time to do everything we talked about.
You sincerely loved your friends and specially your family. My condolences to the family, I pray for the peace and strength needed at this time.
You were so loved and will be so missed.

Francesca was an inspiration to everyone! Her smile lit up the room, and I'm happy to see that her beautiful smile never went away! (Of course the huge flowers she wore always brightened things, too!) Thanks for sharing the photos; she was a lovely person with a larger than life, sparkling personality; and she had a beautiful, loving family! God Bless! ~Karen Karr (Indianapolis, IN --yp)

I never met Fancesca face to face, but I would know her voice, warmth, joyfulness, and spunk ANYWHERE! Looking at her photos, it makes me happy to see that she made being severely sick look chic, and it couldn't stop her trademark smile from sparkling through her eyes and heart! AMAZING! :)
She was FULL of great ideas and creativity! I will be forever thankful for her influence and the one-on-one time she spent with me over the phone before she retired.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family & those that had the privelage of knowing her personally. May you find comfort, joy, and belly laughs in the rich memories and photos you created together.

Francesca filled any room she entered with laughter and warmth. Straight to the point, she let you know what she was thinking...and she was usually right. She LOVED her family, friends and life dearly. We should all hope to be loved in return as much as she.

I have fond thoughts of working and collaborating with Francesca on AT&T training projects. She was always 'over-the-top' with great ideas. And what a fashionista she was! But most of all, I recall how excited she was to be a Grandma and then, her AVA was here. Ava may have only had her grandmother for a short time, but hopefully Francesca's spirit and joie de vivre will live on forever in Ava and all the others she has touched. I'm sure you're rockin' out in Heaven, Francesca. My condolences to the family. Karen True

Only Francescas has the power to bring so many people together to remember and praise her life. It sounds shallow to say she will be missed, she will always be remembered. Lance, Duke & Gabe you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Francesca was more than a colleague, she was a friend and an inspiration to all who knew her. She showed us how to live, love, laugh and, ultimately, leave with grace, dignity, humor and a zest for life. My friend Francesca was a classy dame, in the most flattering and highest sense of the word. Onward and upward, FPR!!!

Lance, Your life will be forever changed, after sharing it with this dynamic Italian woman, as I and others have experienced. She was a mover and shaker, who made things happen that were fun for everyone. She was known as Penny for Pennone, when I knew her in grammer school and high school. Francesca spoke her opinion clearly, yet knew how to persuade others so convincingly, and to their benefit. She was a high energy lady, who put her all, into those things or people that she cared about. She had a good heart, was sensible, and was very, very smart. Her sales at work were so high and won her so many awards (with trophies almost as tall as she was), that she was deservedly promoted to sales team trainer for the international corporation. She added excitement and drama to ordinary events. To her, possibilities were endless. She was creative and artsy and practical, too. People were drawn to her, and you knew when she was near. Francesca truly was alive with life. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray that His truth is a comfort to you, as you seek solace during this time of shock and grieving. Psalms 91 is my favorite. She loved you so unabashedly and passionately. She loved her boys, their wives, and Ava; the grand baby. She loved her siblings, relatives, and friends. She will be missed, and I pray for comfort for you and all those who loved Fracesca (Penny), as I believe she is in that better place that we all aspire to one day arrive.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Francesca's family during this time of sorrow. But to know Francesca was to know that she always brought life to the room. In her passing she will be remembered as a person full of life and one that brought many blessings to the people she called her friends.
