Francesca Schmidt Obituary
Clinton Twp - Francesca Angela Michelotti- Schmidt, of Clinton Twp., Michigan, passed away on December 27, 2020 from complications of COVID-19.
Francesca was born February 5, 1941 in Rome, Italy. She lived there until she was 12 years old, when she came to America. She lived in Detroit and graduated from Nativity High School and the University of Detroit.
She married Ken Schmidt, her high school sweetheart, and they shared 56 loving years together.
Francesca is well remembered for her wedding and event planning with both Penna's of Sterling and her business, Elegante Bridal, for over 20 years.
Loving mother of Robert, Kristen (Keenan) Malinich, and Paula; proud Gammi of Samantha, Keagan, Karsyn, and Makenzie; dear sister of Margie; godmother of Kaitlyn. Francesca is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and her namesake, Baby Francesca.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
