Mrs. Rice was my French teacher for 3 years at Illiopolis HS in the 70's. We all dearly loved her, along with her stories about Italy, her growing up and her family. She was one of those special teachers that will live in the hearts of her students forever! I know there are lots of IHS grads that can speak some of her French! Here's to you Mrs. Rice! Au voir

Mrs. Rice was my French teacher in HS and we later taught together at Decatur St. Teresa when she subbed in the late 80's to early 90's. She had a profound impact on my development as a teacher and I still tell my students some of her stories about growing up in Italy. Great teacher and lady. Au revoir Madame Rice.
