Send Flowers

After a dull time studying pharmacy, Frank Garfi, the son of an immigrant Brooklyn barber, found a job that suited him precisely. His first year as a trader at Cantor Fitzgerald was as fast-paced, demanding and as power-filled as an extreme sport.

"He was ecstatic about it," said Vito Garfi, his brother, who also worked in finance. "Coming in everyday and participating in a worldwide game. Trading millions of dollars. Constantly trying to fight all the other traders and gauge the market."

After a lifetime of looking up to his older brother, Frank Garfi, 28, was meeting him as an equal, said Sabina, his sister-in-law. Vito Garfi, 33, "was big, was everything, to Frank," she said. "He loved talking about stocks and companies and the economy and financing," she said of the younger brother. "He loved that he could actually sit down with his brother at the table and talk about this stuff. He was in it, too, now."

Not sure what to say?

Another year without you but it never gets easier RIP Bro

Gone but not forgotten. GODSPEED. - DiBello Family

Another year of saying hello. You left an impact on all Frank. Wish I had saved our Bloomberg messages to look back on. RIP buddy

Though I never officially met you, I think about you every year on September 11 and tell my students about you. The amount of questions abound. This year, my phone made this site pop up on my screen and I was able to see pictures I’ve never seen before. My sister spent time with you when she went to school out east and she always talked about you fondly. RIP, dear Frankie. Sending love and hugs to your family.

Came across this page when I Googled your name because I wanted to see your face. Every year on 9/11 you´re the one person I think of all day. I don´t know what to say. You left a mark on my heart. Thinking of you. Praying for you and your family tonight.

I visited the World Trade Centre on 20th October 2022. So wanted to pay my respects and send condolences on Franks birthday.

Remembering Francesco on the 20th anniversary of 9/11...

Frank you are never Forgotten! Your miss and love love. It has never gotten easier. RIP Bro

On this twentieth anniversary of that horrible day, I just wanted to let Frank and his family know that we from Dewey still remember him and miss him, and the other members of the Dewey community we lost that day. Our condolences to his family, and may his memory be for a blessing.
