My dog Leo led me to Francine's door tonight, as he does every night. She loved to give him treats, and he loved her right back. She delighted in the way he rushed through the door, went straight for her empty take-out bag looking for tuna fish crumbs, and then parked himself at the cupboard where she kept his treats. Eventually, he would settle at her feet or sprawl out on the rug. She loved to indulge him with two or three treats in any one visit. We miss you, Francine!
