I am sending the condolences of the Idiart Family. My sister Loyola went to Mayfield with Fran and she lived with the Masotti’s her first semester of senior after our move to La Jolla. Fran was Loyola’s maid of honor when she married Jim in 1961. They remained friends until Loyola’s death in 1995. May her gracious spirit continue.

We, the Irish Cousins, are so sad to hear of Fran’s passing. She was such a lady. And always so warm, kind and welcoming to all of us when we visited San Francisco. She and John stayed with us on one of their Irish visits when we lived in Dublin back in the noughties. I remember we all went to a Rugby match at Lansdowne Rd. And they were struck (challenged?) by the narrow roads around Ranelagh. We had great fun with her and big John. May she rest in peace. Love Martin & Mary
