Father Frank was my uncle. The news of his death found myself and my wife,Fran,in southern Arizona. We won't be able to attend the funeral mass in Glace Bay and I will miss getting together with my cousins and others.
I remember many family visits to Cape Breton. Often we visited with Father Frank. This meant going to distant parishes such as Dingwall. As a child,I enjoyed these visits and learned that spirituality could indeed encompass a sense of humour. Father Frank lived an ethical, moral life and recognized this type of spiritual practice in persons of different denominations.
In a visit to Amherst,Father Frank said Sunday Mass. I remember the theme of his homily was journey. He referred to us as being on a journey home. He is now home.

Fr. Frank was a good friend of my father, the late Rev.Douglas Gass , who was the United Church minister in Stellarton at the same time that he was the parish priest at Lourdes. They engaged in many ecumenical endeavours together, and even jointly officiated at the occasional wedding. Their respect for each other was significant as they were both progressive and forward thinking clergymen, sharing common concern for social justice, locally and globally. I know Father Frank was held in the highest regard by those of all denominations who shared his vision of justice and peace .

Fr. Frank was a very spiritual man. I remember him from being our parish priest at Lourdes and met him over the years at other churches or just to see him and say hi. Rest in peace Fr Frank.

I have very fond memories of Father Frank. He was always so upbeat, even during the later years he maintained his sense of humour. I always admired his commitment to serving the Lord, along with his many years of serving the people and families in various communities he resided. I truly appreciate the bond he shared with his brother Father Fred, as well as his extended family. So, let us not be sad, for he lived his life to the fullest. Let us celebrate because Father Frank was able to make a difference in so many people's lives. We can be sure that he has eternal peace in heaven with the Lord, and he will help guide us for the rest of our lives.

To Father Fred and the Morley Family:Saddened to learn of Father Frank's passing..brings back a rush of great memories of New Victoria days and my brother Alex and I serving as Altar Boys for Fr.Frank...he was a most wonderful and kind priest in the image of priestly virtue.A fitting tribute from my merger Latin knowledge of those days would be:"Benedictus qui venit in Nomini Domini"...Blessed is he Who comes in the Name of the Lord"...He was that indeed!
Sincerely,JackMacIsaac(formerly New Victoria)

Father Frank Morley was a wonderful friend of our family!. One of the first baptisms in Tracadie was our daughter, Jana Lee. Really our children grew up with this wonderful priest. He was always so holy and so very friendly. Our children went to church at a very young age and were not the"quietest" but Father Morley always said, "Don't worry about the noise that is music in the church-It is so wonderful to hear these children."How our Dad and Mom, Reg and Mary, loved this man. He became a priest the same year that they got married! The parish of Tracadie mourns the loss of a truly fantastic priest!
Father Fred and Mary, and all of Father's relatives, our thoughts and prayers
are with you! Sincerely, Alice(Connors) and Wayne Mattie(Bayfield, NS)

To the Morley Family - Fr. Morley gave me my first job mowing the grass at St. Peter's Parish in Tracadie, NS. He was a very friendly, gentle and caring man - whom everyone liked. He was a great employer as well. He certainly lived a long meaningful and productive life.

To Father Frank's Family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Father Frank's passing. He was a wonderful person with a sense of humour and a very quick wit. He spent many suppers at our home in his days at St.Agnes. As you share your stories and memories of how he lived his life also of how very much he meant. May all the love you shared surround you with comfort. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
                     With Deepest Sympathy

I remember visiting Fr. Frank with my parents (Charles his brother and Mary) in almost every parish where he was assigned. I know he felt a real connection with all of them. I remember his great sense of humour and his quick wit. I remember visiting Fr. Frank a few years ago and we were talking about someone in the news who had just turned 90. His comment back to me was that's really old is it?. That's when I clued in that his 90th birthday was in 2 days. I remember his involvement in coop housing and the street that still bears his name. This was just one of his many efforts over the years. He served his parishes and his parishioners but he also served his community. Most of all, I remember the close knit, supportive and loving family that surrounded him all his life. This intense positive caring was paid forward by Fr. Frank at every opportunity. Visiting with Fr. Frank made you feel good about yourself and everything around you. It was like an injection of positive energy that he shared with nieces and nephews, parishioners, fellow priests.every one within reach. It all came from a very deep well.. feed by his family and his faith. In a long list of accomplishments, his sharing of support and love with the people around him and the degree to which this is still being carried forward by those he touched, may be his greatest legacy.

I have fond memories of Father Morley from his time at St, Agnes. As a teenager he was a mentor for many of us. I remember when he went off on a mission trip to Central America. As the Head Altar Boy during his time I enjoyed his sense of humor and his devotion to his calling. Well done thy good and Faithful servant.

Fr. Frank was open and honest with his faith and always willing to share what he carried in his heart. He understood when we questioned our faith but with his patience and time he helped us grow and understand our faith. He was a loving and kind soul who accepted everyone for who they are and where they were in their lives. He impacted everyone he came in contact with. Our lives were enriched because we had the opportunity to share in prayer, kindness and hospitality with him. He was one of a kind.

Fr. Frank celebrated our wedding in Aug 1977, at St. Peter's church, in Tracadie. We were his first wedding ceremony and it meant a lot to us. And Fr. Fred was there when I made my first communion, back in the early 60's. Fr. Tom joined us at a marriage encounter, in early 1980's. They all had a special place in the hearts of our family, The Bowmans, of Afton.
Our deepest sympathy to Fr. Frank's family
