Not sure what to say?

Forgive the tardiness in this post. I wish to offer condolences to the Allegra Family. I was a school mate of Fran's in High School and at Borromeo College. Years back when I learned he had become a federal judge, I felt a sense of pride knowing that a classmate ( Fran was 2 years ahead of me ) had done so well. Funny, I too am a Rock Hound. With distance and time I doubt we would have ever gone on exploration together but now I know that I share a common interest with a great man. God...

Judge Allegra was a great professor--smart, witty, humorous, and kind. He shared his knowledge, wisdom, and insight with joy. He will definitely be missed at GULC.

Regina, Dominic, and Vinny, you all are in my prayers. No one can understand your loss and pain, but I am sure our Lord is holding you. He will bring peace in His divine time in most loving way. May our Blessed Mother pray to Jesus for all family and friends. Love you all.

The Allegra Family,
Monica and I would like to express our condolences for the loss of the Honorable Francis M. Allegra. We will continue to pray for your family and ensure that the Bishop O'Connell family watches over Dominic and Vincent. Daniel and Monica Stabile

We didn't have the privilege of meeting Francis, but our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this difficult time. My son has gotten to know Vinnie at DJO and likes him very much and considers him his friend in such short time. May God comfort you all.

Postscript: Judge Allegra's family and friends, I know the Judge was a "rock hound". Find joy in this tough time knowing that he is now surrounded by rocks and minerals more glorious that any of us could ever imagine or dream.

We knew Fran from Bishop O'Connell's Music Boosters. In that low-key Midwestern way, he would make great suggestions about logistics for everything from performances, to band trips to potluck dinners. He had a kind way about him, and like the other Boosters, was there supporting an activity his son gravitated towards.

We are the better for getting to know Fran a little and are so very saddened by his passing. Our hearts are with Regina and the boys, as well as with Fran's parents and...

Judge Allegra was a man of principles, dignity and integrity. I was honored to have appeared before him in his courtroom. He stood for his beliefs in fair truth and honest justice at a time when few do. Mrs. Allegra, Domenic and Vincent, I know that you have been inspired by your husband and fathers courage as I have been. Blessings on each of you, your friends and extended family who are grieving the loss of a great man. God Speed. Rest easy now Judge. Your work here is complete.
