Not sure what to say?

Martha and family, I was sad to hear about the passing of your father. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Tricia

Martha Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

Your dad was a great man, and he accomplished so much in life. Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers especially the last couple of years. You have a great family and I know in my heart Francis,Frank, and Patrick are in heaven with a smile looking down at us.

Very sorry to hear about Mr. Archibald. The Archibald family was a staple in Hanahan as long as I can remember.

I met Mr. A (as I called him) while I was working at the assisted living facility where he lived. One time he shared a story with me about how he and Mrs. Archibald were visiting Holland and one afternoon they happened upon a music and beer festival and how much they enjoyed that day. We talked about the Red Sox, how he thought Sean Connery was the best James Bond, and how breakfast is the best meal of the day. Sending loving thoughts to all his family and loved ones.

I knew Mr. Archibald for a long time from my Hanahan days. My mother, Elsie Crossley, worked at the Hanahan News with him and typeset quite a few of his articles in the weekly issues. She always enjoyed typing his articles she said because she learned so much form reading them.

Francis epitomized everything that made Hanahan such a unique community. The Archibald family are in my brother's (Neil, who also worked with at the local newspaper) thoughts and prayers!

Arch was a former Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (1953-1959)....he was always proud of his service to the Air Force and our nation. I had the good fortunate to know him for over 25 years. He was a gentleman in the true sense of the Southern word and I had great respect for him. God rest his soul.
