I rember when i first met Stone Elk we were at the indian plaza pow-wow grounds. Every year since then we (my family) would always have a camp site right across from him and his sons Adamn and Albert.My father took out the drum that we had and he said go grab the boys and inviet them over. So i did and ever since then. Our familys were close. But thats one of the best meorys i have other than the one with a golf club lol.

Stone Elk, you are truly missed. I will also remember your smiling face when you looked at Yellow Hummingbird & Happiness that you felt. Thank you for being our Band Originator Our Chief. Your dream will be carried on as you watch. Thank You, Chief for the beautiful name that you gave me.

I miss you with all my heart. You were my friend, teacher, and Chief. I know you are watching over all of us down here. I promise to help keep the band going, no matter what the future holds. You had a dream, and it was a great one. I am so glad I was a part of it for the past four years. I know I will see you again.
