Dear Tootsie, Elissa, Will, and Andrea,
Brudd was my favorite "uncle". I loved the way he always asked about what I was up to and then followed up with, "Is that right? well I'll be *#(@! He gave me my nickname, Amaryllas. He called Jeff, Jefferson Captain Queeb, Beth, Bethee and Andy Bobs. He was the reason we moved to Arizona!(thanks Brudd!) Dear Tootsie and family,
Having worked with Brudd for almost 15 yrs. I got to know what a special person he was. I loved when he answered the phone very business like - "Allstate Ins Company, This is Brudd Auther" and then would come the "Can I hep ya"!!! It was always so obvious that you and your family were the highlight of his life. I know how hard it's been for you since his stroke, but he's, as your friends said, tending God's garden now. Please take care of yourself.

Brudd is (was) a good friend, his example on how to treat people is a lesson for all of us.

I want to leave you with this Irish limerick.
"There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be."

Brudd and Tootsie were great together and always had smiles and open arms to great you! Always looked forward to seeing you at all the Barr Events-especially Christmas Eve. Our condolences to you, Tootsie, and your family. We know where Brudd is gardening now!!
