Read MoreI only met Dr. Brochu in January, 1996 when he gave us a tour of the home he had built in Salem, after we closed on the purchase of the house. His memory will live on there in the ways it reflects his manifold interests: the darkroom, 'party room', motorized screen for slide shows and the like. I was very fortunate to work with Dr. Brochu, while he was at VAMC, Salem, Va. He was a great surgeon and wonderful, caring person.
I send my prayers to his family for their loss.

My late husband, Dr. Marvin Lougheed, knew Frank back in Montreal days and was amazed to meet up many years later in Roanoke. We enjoyed each other company before Frank left for Texas. I remember him as a person of many interests and accomplishments. My sympathies go to his family. Carole Lougheed
