Not sure what to say?

I was very saddened at the recent passing of Frank. Frank and I met at RPI and were both members of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity in the 60's and ran Cross Country together. I remember him as a great student, super runner and wonderful friend and I'm sure that he will be sadly missed. My thoughts and good wishes go out to his family.

Never stopped loving you, Frank.
Jan

I would prefer to mail a note, but I know not where. Frank and I were fraternity brothers at RPI and room-mates our sophomore year. Whenever I got to Boston, Frank was always on our list. He was a great guy. My best to his girls and the grand children. We last met in 2008 and had lunch and saw Campanella Way. God bless. Bob Dolbeare

While at RPI, Frank and I belonged to the same fraternity, roomed together, ran track together and became fast friends. After a hiatus of many years we got together at recent reunions...it was as though the intervening years never took place...we picked up right where we left off. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I have never written an online condolence before but reading about your dad has motivated me! I have often wondered how he was and am sorry our paths never crossed again. We met when I was selling condominiums in Dedham. I was in the process of applying to 4 area business schools and Dr. Campanella put in a good word for me at BC. What a kind & gentle man. So sorry.

To his Three daughters. Claire and I are very sorry for your loss. We knew your Dad over many years; from encounters at ST. Zepherin's church in Cochituate, the Chart Room in Cataumet, the Chappaqoit Grille and ST. Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth. We would converse about happenings concerning his three daughters and our three boys and two girls. He remains in out hearts a FINE FELLOW.

Frank with me was a member of the RPI track team and Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He was one year behing me and was my "Little Brother" at ASP. I saw him at the 2007 RPI reunion and he was greater than ever. My best wishes for all of you.

To The Campanella Family,
I had the good fortune of being a member the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity (ASP) with Frank at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) from 1955-1957. I remember him as a wonderful brother, gentleman, and friend who was always ready to help others and do his part to make our ASP brotherhood a better organization. I also remember seeing Frank, who was kind enough to attend a few of our class of 1957 reunions at RPI. I will remember him and his family in my...

To the Campanella Sisters,
I am sorry for your loss. I know what a difficult time it has been for you all at MGH. Your love and support of your Dad and each other was heart warming.
You will be in my prayers,
Kelly Nolan (Dylan's Aunt)
