My heart and prayers go out to the Crippen Family for the loss of your son. I was shocked and deeply sadened by the loss of Fran he had a talent like no other I admired his dedication and his talent! Fran was trully a aspiration to all the swimmers young and old and a great role model for future swimmers to come! I did not know him personnally but I watched him from the tv screen and I applauded his achievements when he won in his competitions! He will be trully Missed with his humble spirit!...

So sad - my heart goes out to the Crippen family. Watched Fran swim when he came to Ft. Myers. He will be missed. Have spent many years working with USA Swimming and he was one of my favorite swimmers to follow.
