Not sure what to say?

I worked at Delaney´s and went to Harbor High when Kellie went there. I have some great memories of meeting Fran and Leo the chef, Ella and many more. I worked there from age 15-18 about 1983. I remember Joyce and her brother Bob. My name is James Welsh IG @jameswelshactor Would love to hear from anyone that remembers me :)

My grandfather Tom Martin worked at Delany's for years back in the 70s-80s. He was the butcher for Fran at Delaney's market. He was such a nice man.

Mike,Kellie, and Terry....I just learned of your Dad's passing.....My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and for your Dad. I have many many fond memories of the time spent with all of you and a member of the extended family of Delaney's Restaurants. Best regards, Burt Wagoner

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your thoughts and your memories of my Dad.

Mike and I recently laid my Dad to rest. We will celebrate his life and our memories of him on Saturday, December 8, at my home in Carlsbad, where he spent some of his happiest times. If you would like to join us, please reply to this message with your contact info and I will send an inviation with details.

So sorry to hear of Fran's passing. I use to work for him back in '77 and I helped manage 'Delaney's Salty Sam's Kettle of Fish.' He was always very nice & pleasant...also in the later years serving him breakfast! With much sympathy, Sandy

On behalf of Mauricio Mejia and family, we offer our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Fran Delaney. My father Mauricio was an employee of Mr. Delaney for over 15 years and held him in highest esteem always. Even in recent years, he made sure to keep in contact with Mr. Delaney and would visit him often, the most recent time only 2 months ago at his home. My dad always spoke fondly of Mr. Delaney and will miss him. May he rest in peace forever. -Mauricio Mejia and Family

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Uncle Fran and I had a special relationship when I was in my teens. He was the one who would listen and poke holes in all of my know- it-all 17 year old arguments. He was the one that had to meet my boyfriends to see if they measured up. And he could tell this miraculously by just a handshake. No one with a limp, wet-fish handshake could pass muster with him.

Mom would call him and he would come right over if we kids were out of control. And since I remember this so clearly,...

Practically everyone that worked for Mr. Delaney knows that he had a powerful personality. We also know that he was kind and generous. He showed us that he cared. We will always be grateful to him.
