Francis Duenas

Born October 10, 1945 to Pedro And Marciela (Suarez) Pineda . In Brownsville Texas. Francis passed away peacefully on Saturday October 7,2023 , just shy of her 78th birthday. She is now and forever will be  Beloved wife of Alfredo Duenas Sr. of 58 years and  her Beloved children Lionor , Armando and Alfredo Jr . She was adored and cherished by her many grandchildren. Lilianna & Aiden Lopez ( Lionor and Rigo Lopez) . Luke, Jack , Mark and Gracie ( Armando and Cindy Duenas) . Holly , Kyle , Jake ( Alfredo Jr and Brenda Duenas) Christopher Duenas . She was an avid lover of gardening , collecting her elephants and cooking  for her family . Constant smells of homemade tortillas, rice and tamales meant never an empty kitchen , which she loved .The avid home maker she filled her home with love and comfort to all , all were welcomed . Love of classic westerns and Elvis were very well known .. She began her career as an elementary school teacher and retired as a n assist manager from Presbyterian Homes Lake Forest . Francis always had a warm smile and kind word to everyone she met . Always there help anyone who crossed her path . Trust and have Faith God will be with you was always words of comfort that came from her  . Devoted to her faith and family . She is among the clouds and free from pain . Enjoying  her long talks with her best friend her beloved sister Maria ( mother of Orlena  Ayala- Bucher)  and smiling from ear to ear . Planting their garden of glorious blooms which most definitely has her favorited geraniums . She is remembered by brothers and sisters ( Pete ,Fabian, Santos , Alicia , San Juana , Shevlia , Melinda and  countless nieces and nephews . 

No Tears

Weep not for me though I am gene

Into the gentle night

Grieve if you will, but not for long Upon my soul & sweet flight.

There is no need for Tears.

I am at peace, my soul is at rest There is no pain, I suffer not, For with your love I was so blessed.

I am in a place of comfort

The fear now is gone.

Put those things in your thoughts, In your Memory I live on. 

Remember not my fight for breath

Remember not the Strife

Please do not dwell upon my death

But celebrate my life.(author unknown )
