I sat at the desk next to Frank at the Beacon. Frank taught me how to write about politicians. Never a better teacher. Never a better laugh.

I grew up close to Mr Garofalo and knew his children. He was a very kind man and will be greatly missed. His children and I all swam at the Garvey Branch YMCA together. My condolences to his family.

I was a teenager living a few blocks from Frank and his family. We met as Frank and several men were putting up the lights at the Garvey YMCA on S Washington. A few years later I played softball with him and the Garvey Y team. Frank was our pitcher. Years later I would stop by his house to see him and Anita. You couldn't help not wanting to enjoy their company. Frank was a great guy. RIP. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family.

I met Frank and Anita in the early 80's at a very traumatic time in their lives. They were always very kind and supportive of my late husband (Roger Skinner) and to me. May they rest in peace with Paul and others who have preceded them. My condolences to the family.

I had the privilege to know Frank while he was the real estate reporter for the Wichita Eagle. He was a true professional and a joy to work with...fair, kind and accurate. RIP Frank!
