Francis David "Max" Gentile

Having worked at the Y for 30 years, I knew Max for a long time. He was indeed the "Mayor" and his people will miss him. Rest in peace my friend.

Mr. Gentile was a gracious and amazing man who made this world a better place. We are diminished by his passing. Condolences to his wonderful family and all that we´re blessed to know him.

My deepest sympathy to Frank´s family. I worked with him at GE years ago. I have nothing but kind words to say about him. May he RIP.

I first met Max (Frank to his GE friends) in the fall of 1972. I was assigned on my very first day at GE to sit in the cubicle that Frank occupied. He was to be my mentor, and I could not have had a better one than Frank! Frank was well know by all. Our paths crossed often in the many years that we both still worked at GE. Please accept our most sincere condolences of the recent passing of "Uncle Max". He had a "Great Zest for life",and was a very active person. He brightened people's day's with his "Bright, and Infectious Smile". I have many "Fond Memories" from Orchard Street especially when we'd visit on Christmas Eve.
