Griffin, Francis J. "Frank" 77, Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Oct. 1, 2008. Preceded in death by his grandson, Michael J. Griffin Jr., parents, John L. and Ethel M. Griffin; step mother, Margaret Florence Griffin; brothers, James and John; and step sister, Frances Rheinberger. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife of 49 1/2 years, Mary; children, Michael (Sandy) Griffin, Kathleen (Ted) Brault, Laura (Sam) Habegger, julie (Mark) Pederson, Teresa (Tom) Weiland; his beloved 19 grandchildren; two step sisters, Bonita Hauser and Dolores Floering. Memorials are preferred to St. Olaf Roman Catholic Church or the Nicollet Chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous where he was a member for 41 years. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at St. Olaf Roman Catholic Church, 215 South 8th St., Minneapolis, MN. Visitation Monday, October 6, 2008 from 4-7 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100
