As a student at NOJHS under his care in 1971-1972, I am forever deeply grateful for the genuinely sincere friendship he showed during my many events of personal crisis. School bullying, parental deaths, mental trauma and following hospitalizations all were met by his gentle love. You might find a hand carved lead metal coin with his face, I made it in 1972. I already miss your laugh, you telling Ken to not get a tickie, your hand tucked politely between the buttons of your shirt, you sleeping in your chair with a half open newspaper over your chest, and so many other things.
