As a student at NOJHS under his care in 1971-1972, I am forever deeply grateful for the genuinely sincere friendship he showed during my many events of personal crisis. I already miss your laugh, you telling Ken to not get a tickie, your hand tucked politely between the buttons of your shirt, you sleeping in your chair with a half open newspaper over your chest, and so many other things. I will miss you asking mom if you could eat something you shouldn't with hopeful anticipation that you might get lucky and she might say yes, only for her to say no! I have many fond memories working with Bill, He was always kind, thoughtful and professional. I am so sorry for your loss and so glad I had the privilege of working with him.
