Not sure what to say?

God bless the Dyke Hagaman family. He and I (and my wife, Betsy) were classmates in Jackson and graduated together from CHS in 1955. (Apparently, he used "Van" for his name later in life?)We all lived in the Belhaven neighborhood in NE Jackson. He and I pledged Phi Delt together and lived in the same dorm as freshmen. He helped me build my very first Audio System, which consisted of a Heathkit amp, GE Speaker in an bass reflex enclosure, and a Garrard turntable with a GE cartridge. We built...

May you find comfort from the God of All Comfort.

Dr. Fran,

I will be praying for you and your family to receive much comfort during this time. Love to you....

Fran, you have our thoughts and prayers. You were a wonderful wife to Van. Lee, Anna and I would like to send a memorial to Fred and his wife. Brister said they told him about all the foster children they helped raise and we would really like to give them a memorial in Van's name. Would you please let me know how to send it to Fred and his wife. Also what is his wife, full name? Vernon

Dr. Fran,
My prayers are extended to you and your family during these sad times. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you! Be Strong, Be Encouraged!

My prayers are with all of Mr. Hagaman's family. May the Lord give you all peace and comfort.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Francis Van Dyke Hagaman, MD our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Van. And to Van it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him...

Fran, i think you will remember me, Carolyn Lawrence, Secretary to Dr. Jason Collins at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, and you and Dr. Van were interns and I got really close to both of you. I was so shocked this morning when I saw he had left this earthly home for OUR Heavenly home. I am so proud of him for all his accomplishments in the medical field. I did not know that you all were in the same area with me of North Louisiana. I am praying for peace and comfort for you and your children....
