I knew Fran only for a short time before he and Cliff decamped for TN, but i learned he was a great musician (perfect pitch!), a workhorse and unfailingly kind, smart and creative.
Though I'm sorry to learn he passed far too soon, I'm glad to have known him and I'm a better person for it.

Fran, you will be greatly missed. I am so thankful that I had the privilege of knowing you. You are very dear to mine and Dana's heart. To this day I still can't believe that you up and came to our wedding all the way in Wisconsin in the middle of winter. You are amazing, and I am sad that we didn't get to hang out very often. RIP Fran, and I will see you again someday.
