I had the privilege of serving with the then Lt. Krahe at Fort Devens, Massachusetts (beat Al Price to it.) I got to know him when I was first a patrolman, then a desk sgt. and then in CID. He enjoyed spending time at the MP Desk when he was duty officer and he also enjoyed riding with the CID Duty Agent. He was also my platoon leader. 1/LT Krahe was one of the best lieutenants. The world has lost one of the best. RIP 1/LT Krahe.

Fran and I met under business circumstances. I enjoyed working with him from the very beginning. By the time I was finished, I felt we were friends. At that time I didn't think our paths would cross as often as they did. My sincerest sympathy to all his family.

I was so shocked to hear the news about Uncle Fran. Obviously this isn't the forum to express the extent of one's feelings, but I want you to know that you and the family are in our prayers.
