Francis was born on December 9, 1957 and passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Francis was a resident of Carbondale, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. Francis was a 1976 graduate of Carbondale Area High School and had been the owner and operator of Lagana's Auto and Service Station in Carbondale for 33 years. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Francis' name to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431.

I too am sorry to hear about Fran's passing. He was a nice person. I lived a few doors away. RIP.

Sorry for your loss, I met Francis 30 plus years ago when remodeling his parents kitchen and later did his kitchen when he built his home, Francis was a true gentleman always with a smile on his face.

So sorry to hear about Francis. We grew up across the street from each other on Farview Street. Rest In Peace Francis.
