Mel was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was my mentor, my coach and my friend. God used him in his life on earth to bless the lives of others. I am blessed with many fond memories and will cherish his friendship forever.

A mentor, colleague, and friend for more than four decades; Mel was always available for counsel and advice. Our personal times together were filled with fun and are rich with memories. He was a genuine friend and we will miss him.
