I missed the greetings I would get from Francis when he used to run the donut shop. He loved to not only sell donuts, but friendly greetings and discussion.

Muriel and family. So very sorry to hear of Francis passing. I think you guys started the donut business just before we started ours, D&R's Chuck Wagon. We bought lots of donuts for our business and every time we went back to Lebanon, we stopped in to see you at the shop. Sometimes you weren't there, but we left a note. Having heard the news of Mr. Maville's passing, I realized how much the Maville family has been on the periphery of my life. Being able to see their front door from ours while growing up. Muriel's donuts was an every Sat. morning routine in our house, being only 3 houses down the street. 35 1/2 years ago, as a newlywed, our first apartment was rented from his parents. Although I did personally know Francis, I know through his grandson, Doug that he was a wonderful man and will be missed by all of you. My thoughts are with all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. So sad to hear about Francis...I loved coming home to visit my mom and I would ALWAYS want donuts! I would walk in after 5,10 years and he without batting an eye would say " Hi Lisa, " just as if no time had passed. Thoughts are with you all.
