Not sure what to say?

Thank you for (1) being a good listener (2) provider of great advice and(3) being the person that you were! You are missed!

I will miss our conversations about both of my grandfather's service, and my uncles service to the country...... he kept me "hanging" in there when I was ready to throw in the towell....without him I would not be here today. He was stubborn...he was tough, and yet comforting, kind, and honorable. He made me better. I will never forget the countless appointments I shared with this hero. Thank you for caring & for helping me Dr. McCafferty. I miss you alot. i will move forward with the wisdom...

A great man

He was a great Dr and saved my life

Dear Aunt Peggy and family We wish you all condolences for your profound loss. Uncle Frank´s light shone brightly for our family during our Dad´s struggles. His support throughout the difficult times helped our family in immeasurable ways. His understated nature, kindness and caring for all is an example not easily followed. His quiet leadership skills represent the best of the McCafferty legacy. May God Bless you all and support you in this difficult time. I also can never personally...

Our mother, Joan Petrello worked closely for Dr. McCafferty for over 40 years. Dr. McCafferty treated our mother like a member of their family. My mom and dad were very grateful for their friendship. The McCafferty family treated all of our family with the greatest respect and made feel that we were an extension of their family. We pray that the family will have comfort knowing what a wonderful man their father was and how much love was extended from our family.

On behalf of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, I express deep gratitude for Dr. Mccafferty and his service to our patients at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, and especially St. John Hospital, 7911 Detroit Avenue for many years. Our prayers and love to Peggy and his family. Sr. Judith Ann Karam, CSA - Congregational Leader

Dr. Mccafferty was a friend to law enforcement. He was a pioneer in PTSD before anyone recognized the issues and concerns of police officers and their families. He is responsible for saving the lives of many officers. I thanked him then and I thank him again. His family should be very proud of him. Rest in Peace my friend Ann T. Reilly CPD retired

This man was the best Doctor I had! I will miss him
