Not sure what to say?

Francis was my parish priest at St Mary, and when I began teaching outside Waterville, he was at Sacred Heart. He was a wonderful person, a good, kind human being, who was a true pastor of his flock. I did not know that he passed so long ago but I have never forgotten him.

Dear Elaine,
I frequently think back to the days when Father McGillicuddy was at St. Mary's church with Father Finn. I was a young boy but recall and active and upbeat person that loved to play sports in the park with us. I remember he was much more progressive then the typical priest of his time as I recall he used to enjoy skiing. We all loved him and were saddened to learn that he was leaving.

Dear Friends and Acquaintanes and Colin McGillicuddy, my family member,

Thank you all so much for taking the time to send your condolences. It's heartwarming to remember many of you!

Stephen Chayer, Thanks so much for sharing your special story about Francis! If you come to Portland Maine sometime, look me up.

Gratitude to all,
Elaine

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I used to call him Francis. We met at Portland Housing Authority and I always welcomed this tall man with his beard and broad smile. He was so kind and gentle. We laughed together and I shall never forget him. How could one not love him? And you, Elaine, gave him unconditional love. Blessings, Marilyn Fogg

Dear Elaine : I want to extend my sincere sympathy on the passing of your kind husband, Sincerely, your distant cousin and childhood friend Ronald G Morin

Aunt Elaine

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. I regret that we cannot be with you at this time, but I am grateful that my children were able to meet Uncle Francis and yourself at Shrine Sunday.

I will always remember Francis as the most gentle and peaceful man I have ever met. Especially as a fidgety little boy he seemed almost impossibly serene -- I think he must have got that from Grandmother McGillicuddy.

Hoping to see you again on Shine Sunday...

As a member of the Camp Pesky family, you have my heartfelt sympathy. The world has lost a great Man.
