A class act in every sense of the term. Brilliant intellect, talented educator and man of the faith. His wisdom was my guiding light during my law school years. While I will be out of town for his services, I prayed for him and his lovely wife Terry during Mass today. May God bless and keep them.

A treasure of wisdom and always a pleasure to be with and someone whose person and soul adhered to God. Frank served as my co-counsel in a contentious political and election trial in Essex County. After lunch one day, we all returned to the courtroom but Frank sat behind us and not at counsel table. Dr. Frank McQuade leaves behind an expansive legacy of devotion, accomplishment and friendship; he was a prominent and beloved figure in Maplewood and South Orange, the Catholic Church and the Irish community in New Jersey.

And he was a warm and loving man to all- his care and friendship knew no bounds. Bountiful of knowledge, boundless in devotion and energetic in all pursuits, Frank McQuade balanced his great gifts with wit and kindness toward all.
