My first "encounter" with Fran was about 6 years ago when my son and I were shoveling off a skating area on Lake Wyola. Suddenly, this guy appears down the shore with a running snowblower and makes his way up to us with an offer to help! My first impression of a kind, friendly, generous man was borne out a number of times since then in our various other encounters around the lake. Thank you Fran. We'll remember you fondly. And our sincere condolences to your family.

Karen and family. So sorry to hear about Fran's passing. He was a great guy. I really enjoyed talking with him. One of the best times I ever had was when we raced our boats on the lake quite a few years ago. We were about 7 ft away from each other doing over 50 mph. Luckily nobody saw it!. Lake Wyola lost a great guy.

Fran was a wise, patient, kind, loving family man with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved the lake immensely. I still side with him and his drone against the pesky geese.
