Not sure what to say?

Francis (Frank), I never met you, nor spoken to you. Yet, thanks to Chuck Voeltz who knew served with you, sent me photos of you and has talked about you, let me know of your passing, I feel I know you. Vietnam has changed every life it touched. I am sure you took some of your memories with you when you left us, but I pray that our good memories of you will remain with us forever.

I am the founder of the Aerial Rocket Artillery Association and have gotten to know a lot of those...

Grace and peace to you from God, our Father, and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am Bruce Wilder, serving as the Secretary and Chaplain of the ARA Association, and I wanted to let you know that I served in the unit at Fort Benning, GA, and went with it to Vietnam in 1965. All of us will have a memory of Francis and the walk we had with him - many are different because of the War effort in Vietnam and the living and training conditions under which we were living. There is one thing...

My name is Chuck Voeltz, I was SP5-Voeltz in the 11th Airassault at Ft. Benning with Francis, We were crewchiefs of Huey Gunships, I went over to Viet-Nam with the First Cav in 1965, I will try to send you some pictures of him, We will miss Him, Chuck Voeltz

Madeline, Jason and Jodie, words can not express on how I felt when told about Frank. Even now it is hard to comprehend his loss. What is truly sad is that J.J. and Ryan will not get the pleasure to know and see what a wonderful person their grandfather was.
He will be greatly missed.

Jason, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad passing! He was a wonderful guy, that loved his wife, you, JJ, and RJ more than words could say. He was your #1 fan and supported you just how parents always should. I am sure he will be sadly missed by all, but know that he is resting peacefully now after going through alot over the past few years. He seemed in such good spirits when I saw him a few weeks back with you, it is crazy how quickly you can be gone. If there is anything I can do J, call...

The world will be a bit dimmer now that Franny is no longer with us. He touched so many people in his quiet and gentle way. It was a priviledge to have him as a friend. My sympathy to his family and friends!

Miss you pal!
