To the Mitchell Family, Please accept my condolences. Fran was well liked by everyone. He was an amazing craftsman and it showed in his projects especially the guns and RC planes. He surely helped me numerous times and was very generous with his time and giving away his RC equipment to flyers that couldn't afford what was needed. He did more for the sport than anyone I know. It was an honor and a pleasure to know him. He will be missed.

To the Family of Fran Mitchell: I was saddened to learn that Franny has died. He was a master model airplane builder and flyer. I recall much time he spent with me when I entered the hobby, and the tips and wonderful advice he freely gave. I spent many afternoons at the flying field with our planes in the air. His flying skills were superb, and the finishing work of his planes were museum quality. Fran was a true gentleman, kind hearted and friendly to all. No doubt Fran will be greatly...
