Not sure what to say?

Uncle Fran - I will always miss your warm smile and Irish wit..... and never forget my first visit to Fenway with you. 7 years old, a ride on the Green Line trolley, and a seat in the bleachers on a hot summer evening. May you rest gently in the cradle of God's arms with Hank and Jim

I DID NOT KNOW FRAN. I WAS UP ON CENTRE STREET THIS MORNING AND I RAN INTO HIS FUNERAL PROCESSION GOING FROM GORMLEY FUNERAL HOME TO THE ST. THERESA'S CHURCH WHICH WAS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. I WAS STOPPED IN TRAFFIC AND ROLLED DOWN MY WINDOW AND LISTENED TO THE BAG-PIPES PLAYING AND WATCHED THE PROCESSION OF HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS WALKING ACROSS CENTRE STREET. I WAS SO TOUCHED. I SAT IN MY VEHICLE AND CRIED AND PRAYED FOR HIM.I SAID TO MYSELF THAT THIS WAS A MUCH-LOVED AND RESPECTED...

We will miss Fran at the YMCA and seeing him up the elections booth at the Lyndon school- good nice guy

Myself and 9 other officers laid off from Brockton PD in 1991 worked with Fran for 2 years. He was the first to welcome us to the Department. A true gentleman he will missed. From the members of The Brockton Police Department we send our condolences to the family. God Bless you Fran, your work is done on this earth.

Fran always had a ready smile and a readiness to help anyone, be they a fellow police officer, or MBTA employees and customers.
Fran was a great representative of the MBTA Police Department. It was a privilege to have worked with him. My condolences to his family. Tom Maloney
