2012 Dayton reunion
During my time (1968-71; LBJ and Nixon) Ski was our leader and friend. He was somewhat short in stature, but he was a giant of a man. We remember the times we worked with him and even laughed with him. Liz it was great meeting you in Dayton when we were able to reunite. Thank you for all you meant to Ski.

Ski was a great guy to work with and learn from in my 3 1/2 years at WHCA from 1965-68. In working around the White House and on trips, Ski always had a level head and was respected and liked by everyone. I enjoyed visiting with him and Elisabeth when we were in Dayton. He is missed.

I'll never forget Frank "Ski" Orehowsky, may God Rest his Soul. He was a a leader, tough, funny, and caring all at once. My 3 years at the White House working for Ski were the fondest memories I have in life. He was an original, an honest guy-one of a kind-and will be missed by all who knew him.

Frank was my friend, mentor, and supervisor since he picked me up at the headquarters for the 1365 Photo Squadron in Orlando, Florida. He was responsible for bringing me up to the White House in 1965 and then worked with me from Wright Patterson AFB after both he and I retired from the Air Force, he as the Manager for Command Multimedia and I for Air Force Multimedia. I will miss him and his friendship until I can join him upstairs.
