Francis Pike

Hello ..I'm not sure what made me think of Mr. Pike today..but it caused me to see if he had passed...and sadly I found that he had. He was my history teacher in 8th grade and he was a very nice kind teacher ..I also had Miss Dutmers for Home Ec..She too was a very nice teacher. I must confess that I had a little crush on the handsome Mr. Pike back then at 14 years old...He made history class be so interesting...one of my favorite teachers in all of my jr. and sr. high school years. Fran was truly one of the greats. His sense of humor and ability to connect with his students was a gift. He'll always hold a special place as Laketon JHS's best ever teachers. Thanks for always caring. You made a difference.

Mr. Pike was my 8th grade math teacher. Always kind and hilarious. He wrote in my yearbook that year for me, and of course, it was a joke! Thoughts to his wife and family <3
