I'm sad to learn of Mr. Proch's passing. I was a student of his at South High. I went on to get degrees in chemistry, thanks to the sound chemistry foundation he instilled in me.
I'm sure that I am one of hundreds of his former students that never got around to thanking him personally. So I feel an obligation to use this forum to thank him for his very capable teaching techniques.
