Not sure what to say?

Fran was a very kind and generous man. I was fortunate enough to meet him in 1989 when he sold me his 1970 Pontiac LeMans for $700! That was the first car I ever owned.

Daniel M Gore Friends from San Antonio

It was his birthday!!!:my husband took us to the oldest (forgive if I'm wrong) post in Texas!!@ this was Mr. Reidy signing in. We ate at the Pearl.. gave him a special gift.....

I was student manager when Mr. Reidy was Head Basketball coach at St. Philip High School. He was a great mentor to me... taught me leadership and goal setting values. I will deeply miss the wonderful influence he had on me. Paul Sims, (Ph. D. Mich State U., tenured Professor at U of Maryland, author of 11 books and 140 scientific and applied papers).

Memorable teacher and coach at South Jr. High School, early `60s. We could use more Fran Reidys today! Test in Peace.

My condolences to Dave Reidy and family members on the passing of his father. I only got to speak to Fran on two brief occasions between 1985 and 2000, but his decency, kindness, intelligence, friendliness, and love for his family and country shone brightly on those brief visits.

Francis Reidy was my "gym teacher" and tennis coach at South Junior High from 1960 to 1963. Our tennis team won the Junior High City Championship all three years under Coach Reidy's mentorship. That tennis experience and Coach Reidy's guidance have had a profound and positive impact on my life. I retain a framed Kalamazoo Gazette photo of Coach Reidy and our 1963 City Championship Tennis Team in my office.
