Francis ROLLER

I don't know if anyone reads these things but if they do, I want to let them know what a nice person Eugene Roller was. The night before I graduated from Wittenberg in 1971, a friend of mine and I were out celebrating and saw Mr. Roller in his office upstairs at Recitation Hall doing whatever a registrar does the night before graduation. My friend needed at least a "C" in one of his classes to graduate. It was beautiful Spring evening and Mr. Roller's window was open so my friend hollered...

I served with Gene in Italy, we were in the same unit and I have pictures of him. I thought he was from Xenia Andover the years I tried to find him. I still live in Dayton Ohio. It´s a small world. I am sorry I didn´t connect with him. My Deepest Sympathy to the family. Bill Meyer
