Not sure what to say?

While at my brother Frank's funeral I never did sign the guest book. I am sad for all of us in the Family and especially for Colet, but happy that he is with God and our mom, dad and sister Bea in heaven. Mary

I just found out about Frank's passing today. I am so saddened to hear of it. Frank was great to work with at The University of Alabama and always so full of life and stories. Since I am now in Seattle working for the Veteran's Administration, I am sure he would have
been interested in my design experiences with our veterans at VA Puget Sound. My heartfelt warm wishes and condolences to Colet.

I am Woody Clauson's daughter. I was very young when I last saw Frank and his family; however, I am saddened nonetheless by his passing. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

It was my honor to get to know "Uncle Frank" over the last decade after I had the priviledge of joining the Schmidt clan. I admired his example of service to God and Country and his love of family and friends. We mourn in our loss but rejoice for the life well lived. I pray that God will continue to bless this family and ease their sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Coletta and the Schmidt family. Frank was a man who loved God, his church, his family and friends. He will be missed by all who's lives he touched. Heaven had a new voice in the choir singing praises to God.

I never had the honor of meeting Francis but have heard wonderful memories of him. I send my sympathy to the family. My prayers are with you.

Frank has been a blessing to all of us here at Sacred Heart Monastery in Cullman. With Colet he has been a faithful--and adventurous--friend. He and all of his family will be in our Grateful and Joyous prayer. Requiescat in Pace!
Sisters Eleanor and Mary Ruth and all of our Benedictine Sisters.

It was a blessing to have known Frank during his years in Tuscaloosa and I loved hearing of his and Colet's adventures in retirement. There is great rejoicing in heaven as Frank is truly in God's loving arms now -- free of pain. He lived life fully and was a blessing to so many. Love to Colet and his family and special prayers for all who loved and will so greatly miss Frank. Janet Griffith (Tuscaloosa, AL)

I shall always remember Frank's eyes filled with loving light and his gentle, compassionate spirit that overlayed his will of steel. Frank offered life-healing touches as he reached out to myself and so many others who were newly-singled. His courage, deep spirtuality, life wisdom, tender heart and quiet strength were a constant inspiration that I shall always treasure within my heart. My love to beloved Colet and his family who have traveled on his homeward bound journey to our Father.
