Not sure what to say?

Lived in the Scott's neighborhood, caught the bus with the kids, waved at the smiling faces of Earl's Mom and Dad almost everyday. That was 40 plus years ago. Good memories. Sorry for the loss and our thoughts are with the family.

My parents Myrno and Olive Madden knew Emmett through the Grange. They spoke highly of him and always enjoyed his company.I had a privilege of meeting him the last few years at Grange activities. He always had a smile and enjoyed the Grange and the friends he had made. A wonderful man that will be missed. Our thoughts are with your family.

I had the pleasure of working with Emmett's son Earl and heard him speak often of his father. My heart goes out to the family dealing with their loss.

As current Master of Fishers Grange, I was saddened to hear of the passing of a Great Granger and incredible man. Emmett spread knowledge and wisdom to everyone who was willing to listen. He will forever be remembered by those who were able to be in his presence. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I have fond memories of the deer hunting expeditions my father, "Mac", and "Scotty" would venture out on. I only knew Emmett as "Scotty" and Ruth had the same name as my mom. Great memories of a good and kind man.

My husband, Dave McKenzie, worked with Emmett on the Evergreen school board for many years and thought highly of him. He talked about him in his last years and wondered about him. A very nice and respected man. May he RIP

I have a lifetime of memories working closely with Emmett & Ruth Scott mostly through the vehicle of the Grange, but also in Eastern Star circles. Emmett was a man of quiet dignity with a great heart for people. He will be sorely missed and my sympathy goes to all his extended family.

Maxine Lester and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Emmett. We knew him through the Grange.

Many good memories of Emmett and Ruth. You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
