Frank, as he was known, was born January 3, 1931, to Walter and Sophie Segrave in New York City. As a child the family moved to New Orleans. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, and in 1972 graduated from Tulane University. In 1960 he married Mary Evelyn Armiger in New Orleans where they lived and raised their family until moving to Slidell in 1993. Frank enlisted and served in the Army National Guard for 18 years, and retired from South Central Bell / AT&T after 38 years.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Segrave; two sisters, Audry Domecq, Joan Munch; and one brother, William Segrave.

He is survived by three children, Frank Segrave Jr. (Colleen), Constance S. Bellone (Michael), Robert Segrave (Tonya); one brother, Walter Segrave Jr. and sister in law Carol Segrave (William); seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Segrave (Leah), Aimee Boelling (Jason), Christopher Bellone, Evelyn Bellone, Adam Segrave, Aaron Segrave, Tessie Segrave; five great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Boelling, Violet Boelling, Cecilia Segrave, Jesse Whittington Jr., Angelo Whittington; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

The only thing Frank loved more than Tulane football and baseball was spending time with his family. He loved his home and friends in Eden Isles. He was always the life of any party. He was an avid golfer and fisherman as well.

The family would like to thank Gina and Greg Weber as well as the staff and caregivers of Avanti Senior Living in Covington for their support, kindness, and loving care of Mr. Segrave.

Not sure what to say?

We miss you so much. We were so lucky to have you as long as we did. We are so grateful we got to spend time with you with your surprise visits in our neighborhood pretending that was the only reason you were there. I learned so much about Ms. Evelyn from you and how much you missed her. I love how you came into our family and loved all of them as if they were all yours. Including my mom. I grateful you knew and loved Adam just as he was and told him on your 88th birthday to bring over...

Rest in peace Soldier.

Mr Frank was so kind and aways made you laugh it was a pleasure to work with him when ever he came to work at the Sonesta knew all the operator by name always had a joke to tell R.I .P you will be miss .

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Missing my good friend already ! Don’t have anyone’s leg to pull anymore! Miss you Frank!!!!!

Mr. Frank, or in his suave and debonair voice he would use while talking to ladies, Francois, you shared so many pearls of wisdom and fun times with me and my family. Your unending love for your family and pride in your children are etched in our hearts and memories. Yes, Frank, Connie and Bobby we have lots of scoop on all of you :) Your dad loved y'all fiercely - and those grandchildren and great grands were the icing on the cake for him and y'all have some big shoes to fill. He fit right...

Im so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time..Mr Frank, you are missed and loved by all.

Mr. Frank always knew, how to light up a room. He was so full of love to share. Mr. Frank never met a stranger. I’m always going to remember Mr. Frank’s booming laugh and how he could make anyone smile, even on the toughest days. Mr. Frank was the kindest person I knew. He always had time others. I’m going to miss our talks and all the wisdom you had to share. I love you.
