Not sure what to say?

To the Steady family,

I remember your Dad! My thoughts are with you.

Ms. Jennifer Weissenberger and Dr. Stephen Steady, M.D. would like to express our most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has signed the Guest Book. Sympathy, words of encouragement and hope have sustained us. Thank you.

It's hard to write about someone you never met but sometimes connections are too obvious to ignore. A teacher, a Vermonter, the father-in-law of a dear friend...I'm sorry I didn't know him. My thoughts are with the Steady family.

I was a student of Mr. Steady at Cook JHS in the early '60s. Without a doubt, he was one of the best teachers I ever had, and I have always thought about and remembered him. I saw him many years ago and was amazed that he still remembered me. I will always remember his knowledge and his wit. I am honored to have been one of his students. My sincere sympathies to all of you.

Another fond memory of "Dad" was seeing his enjoyment while sitting on the deck, overlooking the beautiful lake, at my...

To Frank’s children and grandchildren:

I’m sorry to hear of your loss; your dad and granddad was a good person and our world is always the less for losing good people.

I haven’t had much contact with my uncle Frank since he and Virginia left Omaha in my youth. My memories of Frank are from the time that he, Virginia and just two children, Stephen and Frank, lived in the house behind my grandparents on 11th Street. I remember Frank as a handsome Frenchman - I was most...

We both were volunteers at the Kitchen when Frank was there. May the happy memories of his life sustain you during this sorrowful time. Our prayers are with you.
